Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority
Government of India, the Government of Nagaland, and representatives of the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) sign an agreement providing for the creation of the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA). The agreement covers six eastern districts of Nagaland and provides for devolution of powers over specified subjects, while mandating that Article 371(A) provisions remain unaffected.
