The PM Vishwakarma scheme provides skill training, financial assistance and marketing support to traditional artisans and craftspeople across India. The scheme aims to strengthen traditional occupations and improve livelihoods in the informal sector.

Skill Training Basic skill training of 5–7 days and advanced training of 15 or more days with a stipend of ₹500 per day.
Toolkit Incentive Grant of ₹15,000 for purchase of modern tools.
Credit Support Collateral-free loans up to ₹1 lakh in the first tranche and up to ₹2 lakh in the second tranche at a concessional interest rate of 5%.
Marketing Support Assistance with branding, product promotion and access to marketing platforms.
Eligibility Applicant must be a traditional artisan aged 18 or above working in the unorganized sector using hand tools.
Exclusion Government employees and their family members are not eligible.
Registration Free registration through Common Services Centres using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication.
