The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises is promoting inclusive entrepreneurship through the National SC-ST Hub Scheme. The scheme provides for capacity enhancement of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs and support measures for SC-ST population-led entrepreneurship.

Functions The scheme provides for: preparing intervention strategy through industry associations to enable SC-ST owned units for participation in public procurement; facilitating SC-ST entrepreneurs in vendor development programmes and mentoring support by specific CPSEs matching products or services; capacity building of existing and prospective SC-ST entrepreneurs through skill development programmes; sharing SC-ST MSEs data with CPSEs to enhance procurement from SC-ST; and undertaking outreach activities for scheme promotion among SC-ST population.
