GAGAN Becomes First SBAS Certified for Equatorial Region
India provides for the country’s 1st satellite-based landing system approach on a commercial jet aircraft using GAGAN (GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation). GAGAN comprises the 1st SBAS certification for the equatorial region and provides for GPS augmentation through real-time correction and integrity information.
