NIXI Marks 23rd Foundation Day

NIXI celebrates its 23rd Foundation Day and launches 4 new digital platforms. The event highlights NIXI’s role in domestic internet traffic exchange, domain management, and IP address allocation under MeitY. This remains relevant due to the rollout of new portals linked to IXP operations, IRINN services, and domain security.

INRegistry functions	INRegistry regulates India’s domain names, including “.in” and “.भारत” registries.
Multilingual domain support	NIXI provides domain names in 22 Indian languages.
IPv6 adoption	India achieved 78.34% IPv6 penetration.
Security initiatives	NIXI provides for migration of banking platforms to the “.bank.in” zone and AI-powered WHOIS screening for domain trust.
