Ultraluminous X-ray Sources

Scientists from the Raman Research Institute (RRI) have analysed rare, repeating bursts of energy from a distant ultraluminous X-ray source (ULX). The ULXs as accreting systems where a compact object pulls in matter from a companion star, releasing enormous energy.
