RBI notifies the Reserve Bank–Integrated Ombudsman Scheme (RB-IOS) 2026 for resolving customer grievances related to services of RBI-regulated entities. The scheme comes into effect from July 1, 2026, and provides an alternate grievance redress mechanism for complaints against Regulated Entities.

Appeal provision Regulated Entity or Complainant may file an appeal before the Appellate Authority within 30 days.
Nodal officer requirement Regulated Entity shall appoint a Principal Nodal Officer at their head office for furnishing information on its behalf in respect of complaints filed.
