Periodic Labour Force Survey Explains Key Labour Indicators: LFPR, WPR and Unemployment Rate
The Monthly Bulletin for December, 2025 of the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) shows an upward trend in the Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) for persons aged 15 years and above. PLFS is conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), and presents all-India estimates of key labour market indicators using the Current Weekly Status (CWS) approach.
