CPI 2024 Series to Release Inflation Data from January 2026
The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) revises the Consumer Price Index base year from 2012=100 to 2024=100 and expands market coverage using updated consumption weights from the Household Consumption Expenditure Survey 2023-24. Under the CPI 2024 series, inflation data is available from January 2026 onwards, while CPI 2012 series inflation data is available up to December 2025.
