C-DOT Unveils 14 Indigenous Quantum Products

On its 43rd Foundation Day, C-DOT unveils 14 indigenous quantum products covering Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). C-DOT functions under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, and the products provide for strengthening security of India’s communication networks.

14 Indigenous Quantum Products (QKD and PQC):

PQC device: Q-SETU Q-SETU comprises a quantum-safe encryptor for Layer 3 communications with throughput up to 80 Mbps, and it incorporates NIST PQC algorithms.
PQC device: Q-MAHASETU Q-MAHASETU comprises a commercial-grade quantum-safe encryptor supporting Layer 2/3 networks with throughput up to 40 Gbps, and it uses NIST PQC algorithms.
PQC device: Q-VIKRAM Q-VIKRAM comprises a defence-grade quantum-safe encryptor for Layer 2/3 networks with throughput up to 1 Gbps, and it incorporates NIST PQC algorithms.
