Akash Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile System
Defence Minister flags off Akash 3rd and 4th Regiment combat systems and inaugurates the Mountain Fire Control Radar at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in Bengaluru. The Mountain Fire Control Radar forms part of air-defence fire control radars and specialises in high-altitude operations involving thin air and complex topography.
